“De Vision”

Some years ago, I learnt the secret to distracting even the most focused of men (please don’t try it at home)

So, seeth thou a man with vision, focused on his work, lookest thou a way to get him derailed?

GIVE HIM ANOTHER VISION.

It is easier to get someone that is highly focused and driven to take on extra load than to drop the already carried one.

Notice how easy it is to find more things to do when you’re engaged with activities, easy to carry on more things than you’re ready carrying, easy to buy into someone’s vision, easy to jump in on any attractive opportunity, easy to be pulled this way and that.

This I believe is where “DIVISION” came from, Di-Vision. “Di” stands for double, and when a Vision is doubled, it becomes “Di” which is double and by extension “Divided”. Something divided isn’t as strong as when whole, don’t let anyone tamper with your vision, cherish it, cling to it, and run with it.

“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” Matthew 6:22 (KJV)

What does it mean for your eye to be single, does it mean you’ll have to take out one eye so you can be properly focused? Of course not, it speaks of cutting down things that have tendency to distract and derail you, it speaks of choosing a particular thing and sticking to it until you see it completed.

So be single eyed today and every other day, don’t let things pull you this way and that, stay on your lane, remain focused to De Vision in order to avoid Division.

Grace & Peace
