Hey Fam, how was breakfast? You had yet? Yes/No? Pay me no mind, when it comes to matters of food, I don’t play. And right now I’m famished, yet to take the first meal of the day. At the time I’m typing this, you’ll never guess where I am. In a car, journeying to the west, we’re yet to move though. This holiday season always brings increase in everything, everyone wants more, they hustle like after now, the world ends. With all my talk I still paid the preposterous amount they asked for, because well, I can’t trek can I?
Enough about my situation though, let’s talk about you. Where are you? What are you up to? Do you have money? Are you healthy? I’m sorry if I’m in your space, I just care that’s all. And it’s because I care, that’s why I have this short message that if you apply, will change your life for good.
Old picture of me telling “my son”;
“Success is not about being different, as much as it is about being disciplined!”
Nowadays, there’s this craze about doing “your own thing”, “being your own person”, “thinking outside the box”, heck some even go as far as saying “why should you even have a box, don’t just think outside the box, destroy the box” and all that and all that… With so much emphasis on being different, people tend to believe that success is then inspired by how different you can be. News Flash! It’s not. Many have been as different as possible yet failed woefully in their life and purpose. Excellence is not fueled by how proprietary what you’re doing is, but as a matter of fact how dedicated you are to the cause. As much as I believe in us having an unction from the Holy one (1 Jn 2:20) and have therefore being empowered for innovation, I also know that the Word of God never tied our success to how different what we are doing is. Proverbs 22:29 KJV- “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” The New King James Version puts it thus;
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
Isaac sowed in the SAME land as others but was yet prosperous. (Emphasis on SAME)
Allow the Holy Spirit to direct you to your field of purpose, based on His leading and not on how different it is from what others are doing.
Diligence (in your Life and business) entails DISCIPLINE which in fact makes all the DIFFERENCE.
Think about that and do have yourself a differently disciplined day!
